This training is a 2 credit points hands-on, practical session to update optometrists on current trends in ultrasound biometry for cataract surgery and more and to improve their skills and capacity to effectively handle large volume cataract surgical campaigns.

Objectives:
1. Build the capacity of Optoms in Biometry for large volume cataract surgical campaigns
2. Ensure high quality biometry results by prioritizing the immersion technique of A-scan measurement
3. Review reliability factors and common sources of error in ocular biometry

Bonus: Utilization of biometry in the management of myopia.
